Our day is planned around your arrival.

We will be here to greet you at a pre-arranged time between 3 p.m. and 8 p.m.

Arrangements can be made for early or late check-in with prior notice.

Check-out is by 11 a.m.

Late check-out fee may be applied after 11 a.m.

• We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, or cash.
• For security purposes, a credit card is required to reserve a room.
• Absolutely no checks accepted for balance.
• Single night reservations or reservations made within 48 hours of the arrival date, 100% is due at the time of booking.
• For all others, a 50% deposit is due at reservation. Balance is due at check-in

Because we are a small B&B, cancellations, changes in reservation dates or refunds for late arrivals or early departures are not permitted. No-Shows will be charged for the full scheduled stay.

We kindly refund deposits up to 15 days from arrival less a $35 cancellation fee per room. After this time we can only refund deposit provided we resell the nights covered by the reservation less the cancellation fee.

For cancellations with less than 48 hours notice from the check-in date, the full reservation will be charged.

All cancellation refunds will be processed within 7 business days of notice. A check will be issued if any refund is due.

Traveling with Children?
At Sandy Hook Cottage we have created a relaxing & romantic escape for our guests. Our rooms cater to two person occupancy & we believe this environment is not suited to children. We are happy to recommend alternative family oriented Inns.

Guest must agree to accept liability for any damages to the property including but not limited to furniture, structure and landscaping. Guest must also agree to reimburse Sandy Hook Cottage for cost incurred to repair/replace damaged items.

Sandy Hook Cottage does not assume liability for any inconvenience arising from any temporary defects or stoppage in supply of water, gas, electric or plumbing. Sandy Hook Cottage will not accept any liability for any loss or damage caused by weather conditions, natural disasters, acts of God, or other reasons beyond our control.

Because we are a small bed & breakfast, we reserve the right to change your selected room to a comparable or upgraded room without notice if necessary in order to accommodate other reservation requests for multiple day stays which may overlap with your scheduled stay.
