Ocean Grove
Ocean Grove, a National Register Historic District, was founded as a religious retreat by the Ocean Grove Camp Meeting Association in 1869. This quaint, colorful, and historic seaside town boasts the largest concentration of authentic Victorian archetecture in the nation.
The focal point of Ocean Grove is the Great Auditorium, a majestic structure built in 1894 which seats 6,500 people. Camp Meeting Worship Services are still held in the Great Auditorium, as well as concerts and other programs which are open to the public. Visitors to Ocean Grove can enjoy its lovely beaches, boardwalk, and many unique shops and restaurants. For more information on Ocean Grove, visit NeptuneNJ.com.
