By Car From the North:

Garden State Parkway South to exit 117 to Route 36 East. Drive approximately 13 miles. Once you cross Miller Street, the house will be on the left hand side just before the Highlands Bridge.

From the South:

Garden State Parkway North to exit 105 to Route 36 East. Follow past Monmouth Park Racetrack, eventually turning left onto Route 36 North/Ocean Avenue. Continue through Monmouth Beach & Sea Bright toward Sandy Hook. Bear left before Sandy Hook and cross the Highlands Bridge. Sandy Hook Cottage is the 5th building on right just over the bridge overlooking the bay and ocean.

From Philadelphia, Pennsylvania:

New Jersey Turnpike North to exit 7A (I-195 East) to the Garden State Parkway North. Follow direction above “From the South”.

By Ferry:

Take Seastreak from NYC direct to Highlands Marina. It's a relaxing 45
minute scenic trip! Don't forget to bring a bike!

From the Seastreak NY Ferry landing parking lot make a left onto Shore
Drive. At the intersection make a right onto Water Witch Avenue and walk up
to Route 36. Make a left at Route 36. Sandy Hook Cottage is approximately
1/4 mile on the left hand side just before the Highlands Drawbridge.

By Bus:

Academy Bus Lines drops you off directly across the street from us.

By Train:
